About the Role:

The Marketing and Social Media Associate will play a key role in strengthening myAgro's visibility and awareness as we prepare for our 2027 strategy. Reporting directly to the Country Director, this role is responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging video and social media content that reaches and resonates with farmers, partners, and the broader agricultural development community across West Africa. The Marketing Social Media Associate will be myAgro's primary voice on social platforms, driving outreach and brand awareness through compelling storytelling and digital content.

You Will:

• Create, film, and edit high-quality video content for TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms, with a focus on reaching farmers and rural communities.
• Develop and manage a consistent social media content calendar across all platforms.
• Visit the field regularly to capture authentic stories, footage, and testimonials from farmers and staff.
• Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics, and adjust content strategy accordingly.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices relevant to myAgro's audience.
• Collaborate with country teams to ensure content is culturally relevant, locally resonant, and multilingual where needed.
• Support broader communications, branding, and marketing campaigns, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and organizational announcements.

You Have:

• A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital media, journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in social media content creation, marketing, video production, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience creating and editing short-form video content (TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar).
• Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms.
• A strong eye for visual storytelling and creativity.
• Comfort working in rural or field environments and engaging with farming communities.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking.
• West Africa regional experience preferred.
• Fluency in French required. English and Wolof a plus!
