Security and Science make the basis of Verona where before matchmaking there will be Fintech-grade authentication to ensure fraud detection. Through a deep appreciation for the science of compatibility, with Verona, we will be using AI for matchmaking based on an individual's core & shared values.

Role Brief: Marketing - Growth Manager

As the Growth Manager at Verona, you’ll play a key role in scaling our brand within the premium matchmaking industry. This position focuses on driving member acquisition, engagement, and retention through strategic growth initiatives, performance marketing, and partnerships. You'll manage online ad campaigns, optimize for ROI, and work closely with the Media Lab to create impactful social media content. Additionally, you'll forge partnerships with influential brands and networks to enhance Verona's reach. By leveraging data analytics, you’ll ensure our growth strategies are effective, continuously refining user segmentation and journey mapping to deliver a seamless member experience.




Key Responsibilities

  1. Growth Strategy & Execution:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven strategies to increase member acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, understand consumer needs, and analyze competitive trends in the premium matchmaking industry.
  • Lead growth initiatives, track their performance, and refine strategies based on metrics and feedback.
  1. Performance Marketing:
  • Manage online ad campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc., focusing on customer acquisition and optimizing ROI.
  • Work with analytics teams to monitor campaign performance, run A/B tests, and make adjustments to maximize conversions and reduce CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).
  1. Social Media & Content Marketing:
  • Oversee Verona’s social media strategy to promote engagement, educate audiences, and build brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Media Lab to produce engaging content that resonates with Verona’s audience.
  • Drive follower growth and engagement on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with specific metrics tied to platform goals.
  1. Partnership Development:
  • Identify and develop partnerships with educational institutions, alumni networks, luxury brands, and influencers that align with Verona’s brand image.
  • Use partnerships to expand Verona’s reach, build credibility, and increase member acquisition and retention.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, aligning on shared goals and co-marketing initiatives.
  1. Operational Support:
  • Collaborate with matchmaking and product teams to ensure smooth operational processes and a seamless user experience.
  • Support the planning and execution of "Verona Experiences" (offline singles mixers) to boost brand visibility and engagement.
  • Work closely with product, customer service, and tech teams to streamline operations and enhance the user journey.
  1. Analytics & Reporting:
  • Leverage data analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and growth initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on growth metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Assist the team in refining data-driven personas, user segmentation, and journey mapping.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a growth, marketing, or related role.
  • Proven ability to manage performance marketing campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition and CAC optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in social media and content strategy, with experience growing engagement on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships aligned with brand goals.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a data-driven mindset.
