We are looking for a curious, driven, and analytical professional to join our sales team at Disruptive Technologies. As a Market Researcher, you will play a crucial role in uncovering high-value opportunities, mapping markets, and providing actionable insights that directly support our sales efforts mainly across Europe but also US markets.

Disruptive Technologies, founded in Norway, develops award-winning wireless IoT sensors that are transforming industries worldwide—offering simple, reliable, and long-lasting solutions for cold-storage monitoring, space optimization, and energy management.

This role offers a unique opportunity for rapid development through a structured 6-month learning and ramp-up program. Your first months are focused on discipline, systematic research, and producing clear, actionable insights that strengthen sales execution. This is a ramp, not a grind: as you demonstrate impact, the role expands quickly into broader commercial responsibilities and greater influence on how we approach new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify high-value opportunities through deep research on companies, industries, and markets mainly in EU but also the US.
  • Map target accounts and stakeholders to find the strongest entry points and outreach angles.
  • Qualify and prioritize leads using clear criteria, patterns, and triggers that indicate real potential.
  • Deliver actionable insight packages - clean data, slides, sharp lists, briefs, and context that enable effective outreach.
  • Optimize sales targeting and messaging by recommending angles and improvements that increase relevance and response rates.
  • Act as a research-driven extension of the Sales Team, providing direction and market understanding that improve execution and outcomes.
  • Act as a research-driven prospecting function, giving sales the data, insights, and direction they need to succeed.

What you bring

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, with clear written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented, with a structured, detail-focused approach that produces actionable insights and high-quality reports.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful mission: technology that reduces waste, protects health, and improves sustainability
  • A culture that values curiosity, learning, and experimentation
  • Global reach with the agility and pace of a startup
  • Competitive salary with comission, pension, and insurance
  • Fast professional growth with structured development, hands-on learning, and increasing commercial responsibility.
