About the Position:

As a Market General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing CLEAR operations within a designated geographic market, ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations. You will support the Regional Director in maintaining quality control, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing operational oversight. With a strong focus on process adherence and navigating challenges, you will foster a high-performing, engaged team that delivers exceptional security, sales, and customer service experiences. You will manage both hourly and salaried team members, driving them to excel and ensuring seamless operations. In this role, you’ll be a key driver of operational excellence, team development, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for customers while maintaining a high-performance team environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to security, service, and sales, ensuring consistent performance across your defined territory.
  • Lead the development and growth of General Managers and Assistant General Managers in your defined territory, equipping them with the skills and tools to succeed.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Airport Leadership, TSA, Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors, and CLEAR team members.
  • Ensure full compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements, escalating issues to senior leadership as necessary.
  • Identify operational gaps and best practices, proactively resolving challenges to ensure efficient, top-tier operations.
  • Manage and elevate team performance, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance across your defined territory.
  • Provide support for TSA Precheck events and operations outside of airport locations.
  • If applicable, oversee operations at CLEAR Mobile airports within your geographic area, ensuring alignment with company standards.

Who You Are:

    • 8+ years of experience in Operations leadership required (General Manager experience necessary)
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
    • Prior experience managing multi-unit preferred
    • A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others (internally & externally)
    • Ability to develop trusted relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders
    • Ability to travel 75% of the time
    • Required to successfully complete a government background investigation

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 depending on levels of skills and experience. The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
