AI overview

Lead a market strategy for Triptease in ANZ, focusing on driving growth and strategic partnerships while leveraging an extensive network in the hotel tech industry.

The Mission

Triptease is a disruptive force in the travel industry. We’ve built our reputation helping hotels reclaim guest relationships from the "Big OTA" duopoly. In the current landscape, hoteliers across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands are seeking smarter, data-driven ways to drive direct revenue and guest loyalty.

With a world-class data set and a suite of cutting-edge digital marketing tools, Triptease is accelerating its impact. We are looking for a high-impact commercial leader to join us at either a Market Director or Senior Market Director level to own and elevate our presence in the region.

With offices in London, NYC, Barcelona and Singapore, Triptease drives over $1bn in revenue for hoteliers around the globe. As we gear up for our next stage of growth, now is an ideal time to join this fast-growth, well funded, technology business.

The Role: Market Director / Senior Market Director

We are looking for a seasoned executive who is a "hunter" by nature and a "consultant" by trade. While both roles focus on driving growth, the level of seniority will be determined by your experience, the scale of your network, and your ability to influence the broader APAC strategy.

  • As a Market Director: You will focus on high-velocity growth, dominating the mid-market and independent luxury sectors while building a robust pipeline.
  • As a Senior Market Director: You will take on additional responsibility for Enterprise groups, mentor junior team members, and play a lead role in local commercial strategy, optimizing how we position our value proposition to win against regional incumbents and complex tender requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Territory Mastery: Execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for the ANZ and Pacific region to accelerate brand presence.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, prioritize, and close high-value deals with hotel groups and management companies.
  • Industry Advocacy: Deliver high-energy presentations - both on-stage at regional events and in the boardroom.
  • Sales Excellence: Maintain a "rocket-ship" follow-up cadence, navigating the full sales cycle from lead generation to complex commercial negotiation and close.
  • Solution Design: Utilize a deep understanding of the hotel e-commerce & distribution landscape to build tailored ROI-based proposals.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Experience in Hotel Tech, Ad Tech, or SaaS is essential.
  • Mindset: You thrive in a start-up environment - self-driven, objective-based, and comfortable "diving in the deep end."
  • Network: Possess an extensive, active network of hoteliers and decision-makers across the ANZ region, with a proven ability to leverage these relationships to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Location: Based in a major ANZ hub (Sydney, Melbourne, or Auckland preferred).

  • 20 days holiday plus public holidays and one dedicated volunteer day per year
