Summary: Highland Electric Fleets' is seeking a remote part-time (25-32 hours per week) intern for Summer 2026. The intern will support the Market Development team during a critical period of preparation for EPA funding to further drive the Highland Electric Fleets' mission.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize, maintain, and update project documentation for active and closed EPA Clean School Bus projects.
  • Assist with internal file management and data tracking to support project closeout and reporting requirements.
  • Support the Grants & Incentives team in preparing for the new EPA funding round by helping organize application materials, timelines, and supporting data.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating incentive tracking spreadsheets for state and utility programs. 
  • Conduct light research on new incentive programs that support electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and other clean transportation initiatives. 
  • Provide general administrative and organizational assistance on smaller team tasks and projects as needed.
  • Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Policy, Public Administration, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) or Microsoft Office
