Market Development Associate

TLDR

Drive growth in the Hearings business through business development and evangelism, enhancing market awareness and unlocking commercial opportunities in France and Europe.

In the role of Market Development Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of AI and Market Development in relation to multiple strategic objectives to drive growth in our Hearings business in France, and the wider European region.

This role, based in France, combines business development and evangelism to increase market awareness, build trust with key audiences and drive commercial opportunities.

What you'll be doing

Regional Strategy & Execution

  • Assist Director of AI and Market Development in executing commercial strategies to meet and exceed our European revenue goals, contributing ideas to inform our GTM approach in France and the wider European region. .
  • Support the preparation of tailored fee proposals by the Hearings Commercial Operations team, and play a hands-on, contributory role in opportunity discussions to win work with a thorough understanding of our offering and processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and support the Director of AI and Market Development with reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider Revenue team to align activity with global goals and business development initiatives.
  • Support the Head of Client Success in relation to regional activities including feedback meetings.
  • Provide input and operational assistance to cross-functional teams delivering our services in France and the wider European region.
  • Work with the Director of AI and Market Development to build and understand market intelligence, through analysis of internal and external data, to inform region-specific litigation and arbitration opportunities, prioritisation of activity, initiatives and account focus.

Company Evangelism & Business Development

  • Serve as a visible and trusted face for the company across events, conferences, webinars, panels, round tables and industry associations.
  • Provide on-site representation at Paris-based hearings to strengthen client partnerships and support delivery excellence.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demos that articulate our value proposition in a clear and impactful way.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lawyers, arbitrators, partners and key stakeholders in France and other European countries to expand brand reach, open doors, drive top of funnel activity and unlock revenue opportunities.
  • Proactive networking to develop influencers and build engaged contacts in the dispute resolution community in France and other European countries, participating in initiatives that support our overall growth objectives.
  • Identify leads and adoption or expansion opportunities for our subscription (Cases) business.
  • Effective and timely recording of your business development activities in our CRM system.

Marketing Support

  • Support Marketing with the execution of campaigns aligned with regional business development objectives, messaging refinement, customer stories and preparation of content that positions the company and our solutions as an industry leader.

Requirements

What we're looking for in you

  • Bilingual in French and English, with excellent written and spoken proficiency in both.
  • You have proven experience working in a law firm (either in a fee earning, practice support or an innovation role) and understand arbitration, litigation and civil law processes.
  • You have strong communication skills and are confident leading meetings, presenting to clients and delivering demos.
  • You can build relationships with senior stakeholders, with credibility and gravitas to influence.
  • You are outgoing and take advantage of opportunities to network with prospects and clients.
  • You have commercial acumen and can think strategically.
  • Affinity for artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies.
  • You are agile and self-motivated, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritising effectively.
  • You are a team player and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to drive the execution of tasks.
  • Knowledge of and experience using litigation technology tools, as well as CRM solutions, business intelligence software and PowerPoint.
  • Paris-based (for proximity to clients and in-person engagement), with a willingness to travel to conferences and our London headquarters.
  • Other European languages are a bonus!
