Manufacturing Test Engineer, Head Assembly

We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead the end-of-line testing process, software, and triage for our custom head.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own the end-of-line (EoL) testing software for our custom head including:
  • Coordinate with perception, mechanical, electrical, integration, and other manufacturing engineers to improve and update the end-of-line software
  • Perpetually respond to testing failures, including unblocking the manufacturing line, coordinating failure analysis, and driving solutions for manufacturing

Requirements: 

  • Experience owning manufacturing test software for relevant hardware
  • Expertise in Python programming, and familiarity with C++
  • Hands-on, highly technical approach to testing and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integrating test data into production workflows
  • Willing to travel up to 25–40% overseas

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience working with perception systems, including calibration
  • Prior experience working with third-party manufacturers

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $160,000 - $225,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
