Role Overview We are seeking a Manufacturing Software & Documentation Engineer to support the mass production of robots operating on our assembly lines. As a member of the DevOps team, you will build and maintain the software infrastructure required for production launch—ranging from development of manufacturing software to authoring and managing operational manuals. Background & Mission ・Our proprietary “Ghost” robot is entering its mass-production phase. ・To accelerate line-startup speed and ensure stable quality, establishing a robust manufacturing-software platform and comprehensive procedure documentation is essential. ・The DevOps team bridges the software-development and manufacturing divisions, driving production success through software and documentation. Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Software Development & Maintenance
  • ○ Create tools for the production-management system and scripts for automated line inspection and testing.
  • Embedded Software Build & Deployment
  • ○ Design and implement build flows using ShellScript, Python, and C++.
    ○ Build and distribute ROS packages, and design/operate OTA update workflows on the production line.
  • Documentation
  • ○ Author and update setup guides, operation manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • ○ Liaise with manufacturing sites and external vendors for technical alignment and schedule coordination.
    Must-Have Requirements
  • 3+ years of software development experience in embedded systems or DevOps domains
  • Practical experience with ShellScript, Python, and C++
  • Hands-on knowledge of ROS
  • Experience creating and managing technical documentation (specifications, manuals, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills in cross-functional teams
  • English for business communication
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience launching manufacturing lines
  • Embedded Linux build experience
  • Experience building Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments
  • Experience in startup or early-stage product launch environments
