You will engage in diagnosing, repairing, and testing Zoox vehicles, directly impacting mass production through feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
As a Zoox Manufacturing EOL Repair Technician, you will be part of a team responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and testing of our Zoox vehicles at our manufacturing facility. Being comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and computer systems is a must. There will be regular use of hand, power and diagnostics tools along with custom equipment used to improve safety, quality, and reduce repair time. Your feedback from diagnosis and repairs will go directly to your leads to help refine key systems and move Zoox towards mass production.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with leads and other technicians on vehicle repair activities
Diagnose/Troubleshoot on-vehicle issues
Complete daily tasks to ensure on-time completion of the project
Perform execution of on-vehicle testing involving both hardware and software
Provide feedback to the necessary team members to assist in future vehicle development
Regularly organize and maintain the build area
Work within all Environmental Health and Safety guidelines
Identify areas of improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety
Qualifications
Experience working as a technician or in a manufacturing environment
Experience with basic hand and power tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic electrical theory
Familiar with electrical schematics and harness drawings
Familiarity with CAN/LIN network systems
Automotive/OEM experience is a plus
Familiarity with Linux/Bash is a plus
Computer Science knowledge is a plus
Associate Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology
