Job Summary
Supports manufacturing and tooling operations through hands-on investment casting activities, tooling documentation, metrology reporting, and project tracking. Contributes to process execution, technical documentation, and cross-functional project coordination while supporting additive manufacturing and lab-based activities.
Key Responsibilities
Execute investment casting operations including wax injection, wax assembly, grinding, and related shop-floor processes.
Develop and maintain tooling history databases and project tracking tools to monitor progress, risks, and roadblocks.
Prepare and review technical documentation such as CMM verification reports, mold qualification reports, and technical service requests.
Interpret, review, and balloon engineering drawings; verify accuracy of Device History Records (DHRs).
Perform laboratory activities including preparation of chemical baths, post-processing of 3D-printed wax parts, silicone mold fabrication, and laser etching.
Support project reporting and communicate status updates to engineering leadership.
Experience & Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, tooling, investment casting, or additive manufacturing environments.
Experience working with engineering drawings, CMM data, and manufacturing documentation.
Exposure to lab-based manufacturing processes and cross-functional project support activities.
