We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester – IVA/IVR (Spanish speaker) with extensive experience in test planning, independent execution, troubleshooting, log analysis, and AI-powered conversational systems. Hands-on experience designing complete test cases from business and technical requirements, validating complex voice/IVA systems, analyzing logs, and ensuring a high-quality user experience on voice and conversational platforms requires a deep practical understanding—not just theoretical familiarity—of QA fundamentals, AI/agent testing, and UX validation.

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in manual quality assurance.

  • Proven experience testing IVR/IVA/conversational systems.

  • Solid experience in test planning, test case creation, and independent test execution.

  • Experience managing the entire defect lifecycle.

  • Hands-on experience in log verification and technical troubleshooting.

  • Experience testing AI- or NLP-driven systems.

  • Solid understanding of conversational design principles.

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, etc.).

  • Experience using Jira or similar defect management tools.

  • Native or fluent Spanish (required for conversational validation).

Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Test Case Design:

  • Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and conversational designs.

  • Develop detailed test plans, test strategies, and traceability matrices.

  • Translate requirements into structured, high-coverage test cases.

  • Ensure complete functional coverage, including edge cases and negative paths.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in testing early in the lifecycle.

2. Testing and Troubleshooting:

  • Independently run manual functional, regression, integration, and UAT tests.

  • Validate end-to-end IVR/IVA flows, including conversational routes and backend integrations.

  • Troubleshoot voice systems, APIs, and backends.

  • Reproduce, isolate, and document defects with clear root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate effectively with development and product teams to resolve defects.

3. Log Analysis and Technical Validation:

  • Perform log analysis to validate system behavior and troubleshoot issues.

  • Verify backend transactions and API interactions using logs.

  • Analyze system responses, error traces, and performance metrics.

  • Validate speech recognition, intent resolution, and response handling using logs where appropriate.

4. AI/IVA/Agent Testing:

  • Test AI-powered conversational systems (chatbots, voice bots, IVR systems).

  • Validate the accuracy of intent recognition, entity extraction, context retention, conversational transitions, and multi-turn dialogues.

  • Understand agent workflows and decision-based conversational pathways.

  • Identify conversational boundary cases and AI misinterpretations.

  • Support training data validation and conversational model updates.

5. User Experience and Conversational Testing:

  • Evaluate the user experience on voice and conversational platforms.

  • Validate the clarity of prompts, tone and linguistic accuracy (Spanish), navigation logic, menu usability, and error message clarity.

  • Identify pain points and usability issues.

  • Ensure a consistent experience across all channels (voice, web, mobile).
