Manual QA Engineer (Platform Team)

Wargaming is growing the Platform team and is looking for a talented Manual QA Engineer who will enthusiastically dive into new interesting projects. 
Platform is a set of web-services which provides functionality for operating games and players' accounts. The main Platform capabilities are

  • game delivery

  • players’ registration and authentication

  • payments

  • communication with players

  • interaction between games with each other and different services.

The salary range for this position is 1800-2500 € (gross) per month.

Note that this salary range is valid for Lithuania.

What will you do?

  • Analyze the requirements

  • Prepare test data

  • Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, check lists, etc.)

  • Perform functional testing

  • Log defects and verify defect fixes

  • Cooperate and communicate with other teams and departments within Wargaming

  • Work closely with a development team during Sprint

  • Participate in releases

What are we looking for?

  • 1+ years’ experience in web-application testing

  • Understanding of the software development cycle and the role of testing within it

  • Basic knowledge of testing methodology (functional, integration)

  • Experience working with bug trackers and case management systems

  • Experience in creating test documentation (test cases, check lists)

  • Experience in logging defects

  • Good communication skills and ability to learn quickly

  • Desire to develop automation testing skills (we will teach you!)

  • B1 level of English

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Successfully finished Quality Assurance courses

  • Basic knowledge of Python or experience developing test scripts with any programming languages

  • Basic knowledge of SQL

  • Basic knowledge in REST API, XML/JSON

  • Experience in reading logs
