The Role
The Manual QA Engineer will contribute to ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our Trading Mobile Application. You will play a key role in validating complex mobile trading flows, ensuring stability across iOS and Android platforms, and supporting our transition toward a two-week Release Train delivery model.You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders while a parallel team continues building and maintaining our automated testing framework. This role is ideal for a QA professional passionate about modern testing practices, high-quality mobile experiences, and continuous improvement in a dynamic fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and validate our Trading Mobile Application across iOS and Android.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable QA processes.
  • Contribute to shaping and enhancing the overall QA strategy.
  • Execute thorough manual testing across trading functionalities and platform components.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to support seamless delivery.
  • Work effectively within a two-week Release Train cadence.
  • Coordinate with a parallel automation team responsible for automated testing.
  • Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, reviewing test strategies and plans.
  • Support CI/CD readiness and improve release quality.
  • Promote best practices in Agile, testing, and quality engineering.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android).
  • Automation experience (Appium or similar) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of TDD, BDD, and mocking frameworks (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience with tools for build/release automation (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  • Strong analytical thinking and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, globally distributed team.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech or trading applications is a plus.
  • Comfort working within a structured cadence (e.g., two-week Release Train).
