Role and Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Analysis
- Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to understand features.
- Identify testable scenarios and edge cases.
- Help design test plans and test cases.
- Estimate testing effort and identify potential risks.
2. Test Execution
- Execute manual test cases across different environments (web, mobile, API).
- Perform regression testing on new builds.
- Explore features beyond scripted tests (exploratory testing).
- Verify bug fixes and confirm that issues are resolved.
3. Bug Reporting & Tracking
- Report defects in a clear, reproducible, and actionable way.
- Track bugs through resolution and verify fixes.
- Prioritize issues based on severity, impact, and release scope.
- Communicate bugs effectively with developers, PMs, and other stakeholders.
4. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to clarify requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and other meetings.
- Provide feedback on feature design or usability from a QA perspective.
- Escalate blockers or major quality risks proactively.

- Technically savvy, with a solid understanding of internet technologies, web and mobile app behavior, and how systems work behind the scenes.
- Patient and reliable, comfortable with repetitive testing and regression cycles.
- User-oriented, able to think from a real user’s perspective and identify confusing or frustrating flows.
- Clear and confident communicator, comfortable engaging with the team, asking questions, and raising concerns when necessary.
- Self-sufficient, able to work independently while knowing when to seek help or clarification.
- Collaborative team player, contributing positively to team discussions and shared goals.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot functional, usability, and UI inconsistencies.
- Naturally curious and investigative, proactively exploring edge cases beyond documented test scenarios.

- Constructively skeptical, verifying fixes thoroughly and questioning assumptions when behavior seems unclear.
Work Schedule
- UK Shift: 9-hour shift (8 working hours)
- 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
