We are FundCount, an international fintech company with a 20-year track record of delivering innovative solutions. Our unified software platform powers investment, general, and partnership accounting, providing operational efficiency and insights to family offices,
fund administrators, and alternative fund managers worldwide. We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team.
As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product. You'll engage in manual testing to uncover bugs and work closely with our development team to ensure flawless releases. We are a fully remote company, and you can work from anywhere except Russia and Belarus.
About the Product & Team:
Our technology stack includes:
- Java (Hibernate, Spring, Swing, JUnit4, Mockito)
- Gradle
- PostgreSQL, MySQL

We follow a one-month release cycle, freezing code two weeks before each release. We document our processes in Confluence and manage our tasks in Jira (in English). The development team primarily communicates in Russian via Slack. Our QA team consists of 8 engineers.
What you will do:
- Perform thorough manual testing of desktop and web applications.
- Write detailed bug reports in Jira.
- Create and maintain test cases in TestRail.

Collaborate with developers and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
What we expect from you:
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency (written).
- Ability to independently research and gather information from documentation and public sources.
- Adaptability to work with different technologies and tools, with a focus-solving rather than specific experience.
Technical Skills:
- Experience testing both desktop and web (frontend and backend) applications.
- Proficient in SQL and the ability to write DML queries.
- Confident in working with Windows/Linux terminals.Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Ability to read and interpret application logs and troubleshoot stack traces.

Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or cmd/bat.
Would be nice if:
- Basic programming knowledge in any language.
