Manual Machinist

The Manual Machinist machines parts through professional utilization of various conventional machine tools

and related equipment. These parts are used to build Rexa actuators and valves.

Responsibilities:

• Measures material to be used for job using any of the measuring tools needed in making surethe material is correct for the part to be
• Sets up work holding (vise, knee, fixture)
• Performs manual cutting, turning, drilling, tapping, and threading on a manual lathe or
• Performs first, last, and in process inspection to make sure hole locations hole size and overall size of part is correct to the
  

Qualifications:

• 2-years’ experience operating manual machines or technical, vocational education
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to set up and operate conventional machining equipment, while minimizing down
• Demonstrated ability to work from and interpret, blueprints, sketches and verbally communicated
• Ability to read and use measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and bore micrometers with a full knowledge of their
• General shop math skills are required
• Available to work overtime
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing 90% of the time
• Walking 10% of the time

Hourly range: $23.80 - 32.20 depending on experience
