About the Workflow Optimization Team  We are seeking a Manager of Workflow Optimization to  optimize end-to-end workflows across our CXO (Customer Experience and Operations) function. This pivotal role is instrumental in driving transformative change, enhancing operational efficiency, elevating customer satisfaction, and delivering measurable business outcomes in one or more key business areas.   About the Manager, Workflow Optimization Role  As a Manager of Workflow Optimization, you will be a strategic architect and influencer, identifying, prioritizing, and implementing business transformation initiatives within your domain (i.e. area of focus). Your primary goal will be on driving holistic improvements that span upstream and downstream processes, creating a seamless and efficient workflow ecosystem.  In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Drive operations transformation: Reimagining workflows across client-facing and back-office teams. Develop a clear roadmap for optimizing your domain, ensuring alignment with CXO and organizational priorities. 
  • Lead data-driven decision making: Design and oversee robust rituals and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, evaluate impact, and hold stakeholders accountable. Leverage data insights derived from SQL queries and other data analysis techniques to make informed decisions and continuously refine strategies.
  • Architect and orchestrate end-to-end solutions: Lead efforts to re-engineer processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce internal handoffs. Focus on optimizing workflows to enhance both employee and customer experiences, while considering technical feasibility and scalability.
  • Be a true maker-owner: Participate in the execution to bring your strategies to life by building automations, writing queries, and designing dashboards. This is a hands-on role where you’ll truly own solutions end-to-end, including implementing changes in JIRA, Zendesk, and enterprise automation platforms.
  • Champion innovation: Apply a forward-thinking mindset to identify and leverage emerging technologies, such as AI and automation, to streamline operations and deliver cutting-edge solutions. 
  • Influence and align stakeholders: Partner with leaders across CXO R&D, and other cross-functional teams to advocate for and drive workflow optimization initiatives. Build consensus on priorities, secure resources, and align diverse teams toward common goals. 
  • What you'll bring:
  • Technical Acumen: Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and extracting insights from large datasets. A strong understanding of systems configuration, technical possibilities, and emerging technologies, enabling the development of innovative, scalable solutions. A strong interest in exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions (e.g., process automation, predictive analytics) to improve workflows. Familiarity or willingness to learn tools like Cursor, Claude Projects, Gemini Gems is a plus.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Proven ability to convey complex ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively to senior leaders and diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, understand technical constraints and trade-offs, and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Operational and Process Excellence: 5+ years of experience in process re-design, business transformation, or workflow optimization, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
  • Executional Excellence: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading large-scale initiatives from inception to implementation. 
  • Visionary Thinking: A strong ability to think strategically and holistically about complex processes, recognizing upstream and downstream impacts and balancing multiple inputs and factors. You are excited by the opportunity to experiment with cutting-edge technologies.

  • Compensation & Equity
    🤑 Base salary range: For this role, candidates located in Canada can expect a base salary range of CAD $116,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the top of the range, and pay can increase quickly for those who make a big impact in the role.
    🚀 Total compensation: In addition to base salary, this role includes equity compensation. We use clear job levels and market-based salary bands to ensure compensation is fair and consistent across the company.
