Manager, Work Integrated Learning

The Opportunity

The Manager, Work Integrated Learning is responsible for the recruitment of industry partners who engage in Work Integrated Learning units across a number of OES’s programs. Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) is a a structured program that combines academic learning with work experience to prepare students for their future careers. Predominantly, these programs include short-term internships and student team projects with a live industry challenge

This is a part-time (0.6FTE) permanent role.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong understanding of Work Integrated Learning and its benefits for both students and industry partners
  • Professional Written and Verbal Communication
  • Ability to forge strong and enduring relationships with all stakeholders including industry
  • partners, academics, students and alumni; enabling highly successful employability programs to be delivered
  • Deep working knowledge of the Australian industrial landscape
  • Significant professional network built through industry event attendance, the ongoing development of relationships with alumni cohorts and through platforms such as LinkedIn and Salesforce.
