With continued growth across the Middle East, Connor Consulting is seeking a Manager – Tooling Implementation & Enablement to lead enterprise tooling implementations, develop junior consultants, and support growth through pre-sales, innovation, and account expansion initiatives.
This role is both hands-on and strategic, combining technical leadership, client engagement, team development, and the adoption of AI and automation to improve delivery efficiency and scalability.
Main Responsibilities
Tooling Implementation & Technical Leadership

Lead and manage end-to-end implementations of enterprise ITAM and SAM platforms, including:
- Flexera
- ServiceNow ITAM / SAM Pro
- IBM ILMT, BigFix
- Oversee discovery, data normalization, integrations, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex tooling, data, licensing, and integration challenges.
- Define and enforce tooling implementation standards, best practices, and delivery frameworks.
AI, Automation & Innovation

Leverage AI-driven capabilities within ITAM, SAM, SaaS, and FinOps tools to improve:
- Data quality and normalization
- Compliance and optimization outcomes
- Insight generation and reporting

Design and implement automation workflows to reduce manual effort across:
- Discovery ingestion and reconciliation
- License compliance calculations
- Cloud and SaaS cost analysis
- Reporting and dashboard creation
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate data analysis, documentation, enablement materials, and proposal content.
- Identify and operationalize emerging AI and automation capabilities from tooling vendors into Connor delivery models.
Enablement, Training & Practice Development
- Train, mentor, and lead junior consultants on tooling implementation and enablement.
- Design and deliver internal and client-facing tooling enablement and education sessions.
- Develop reusable implementation frameworks, automation assets, accelerators, and training materials.
- Establish AI- and automation-enabled delivery standards across the tooling practice.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary technical and delivery lead for client IT, SAM, Cloud, Architecture, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring delivery quality, timelines, and outcomes.
- Translate complex technical and licensing concepts into clear, executive-level insights.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships through high-quality execution and communication.
Growth, Upsell & Pre-Sales Support

Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities arising from tooling-led engagements, including:
- Additional tooling modules
- Enablement, optimization, and maturity uplift initiatives
- Ongoing managed services and health checks
- Partner with Sales and Account Leads to shape opportunity scope, value propositions, and high-level delivery approaches.
- Support pre-sales activities including proposal development, solution design, effort estimation, demos, and client presentations.
- Contribute to client education sessions showcasing tooling, AI, and automation-driven value.
FinOps & SaaS Tooling Enablement
- Support and lead enablement of FinOps and cloud cost management tooling.
- Integrate ITAM/SAM tooling with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS Management tools.
- Align tooling outputs with cloud financial governance, showback/chargeback, and SaaS optimization initiatives.
- Apply AI-driven insights to identify inefficiencies, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
Requirements
Experience, Skills, and Characteristics

7+ years of experience in:
- IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Software Asset Management (SAM)
- ITSM or tooling-focused consulting roles

Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing enterprise tooling such as:
- Flexera
- ServiceNow ITAM / SAM Pro
- IBM ILMT
- Strong knowledge of software licensing, compliance, optimization, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior consultants, and manage delivery quality.
- Experience supporting pre-sales, proposals, and client-facing solution presentations.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and cost models (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience applying AI and automation to improve delivery efficiency and insight quality.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, tooling dashboards).
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to operate independently and within global teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, innovate, and continuously improve delivery approaches.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience with FinOps frameworks or cloud cost management tools.
- Exposure to SaaS Management platforms.
- Certifications in ServiceNow, Flexera, or FinOps (or willingness to pursue).
- Prior experience in global, multi-cultural delivery teams.
