Manager – Tech Recruitment

TLDR

Lead the Talent Acquisition team at Meesho to evolve recruiting practices through AI innovations while ensuring high-quality hiring and candidate experience across tech roles.

What You Will Do

🔹 Hiring & Delivery

  • Own and deliver end-to-end hiring for tech roles (SDE, Data, ML, Infra, Product)

  • Drive quarterly and annual hiring targets across multiple business units

  • Build strong pipelines for lateral, niche, and leadership hiring

  • Ensure high offer-to-join conversion rates and hiring velocity

  • 🔹 Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with Engineering leaders, Hiring Managers, and HRBPs to drive hiring plans

  • Act as a strategic talent advisor with insights on market trends, talent availability, and compensation

  • Influence workforce planning and org design decisions

  • 🔹 Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of tech recruiters and sourcers

  • Drive recruiter productivity, ownership, and capability building

  • Establish best practices and playbooks for high-quality tech hiring

  • 🔹 Data & Process Excellence

  • Track and improve key metrics such as:

  • Time to hire

  • Funnel conversion rates

  • Offer acceptance rates

  • Use data to identify bottlenecks and optimize hiring processes

  • Build dashboards and drive data-driven decision making

  • 🔹 AI-First Talent Acquisition

  • Identify opportunities to expand AI and automation across the hiring lifecycle, improving speed, quality, and recruiter productivity

  • Build further 10X on existing AI systems in the areas of talent discovery, enablement, screening, assessment and candidate experience AI-powered sourcing and talent discovery systems to unlock top talent pool

  • Leverage available data and models to drive predictive insights around funnel conversion, candidate drop-offs, and offer acceptance

  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of AI-enabled workflows within the recruiting team

  • Partner with internal tech/data teams to co-create and scale new AI solutions for Talent Acquisition

  • Bring in external perspective on emerging AI trends in recruiting and translate them into practical, high-impact use cases at Meesho

  • Strengthen Meesho’s tech employer brand through community engagement, events, and outreach

  • Ensure a seamless and high-quality candidate experience across all touchpoints

  • What You Will Need
  • 8+ years of experience in recruiting with a strong focus on tech hiring

  • 2+ years of experience managing and leading recruiting teams

  • Proven track record of hiring for product companies / high-growth startups

  • Strong understanding of engineering roles, tech stacks, and hiring challenges

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Data-driven mindset with experience in recruiting analytics and metrics

  • Ability to drive hiring at scale while maintaining quality

  • Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams

  • High intent and curiosity to explore, experiment, and adopt AI tools to drive continuous improvement in hiring

  • Hands-on exposure to or strong interest in AI-driven sourcing, screening, or recruiting automation tools

  • Ability to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, quality, or candidate experience

  • Comfort working with data, tools, and systems to optimize recruiting workflows

  • Builder mindset with a bias for innovation, experimentation, and scaling best practice
