Responsibilities:
E2E responsibility for the software product delivery.
Lead a team of systems engineers and senior programmers.
Drive the group to work efficiently and consistently following an Agile methodology (Sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospective meetings, etc.)
Identify technical debt and challenges and drive the team to reduce them.
Provide hands-on technical support to the team in troubleshooting complex issues.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices.
Evaluate architecture options, set technical direction and quality standards, guide implementation.
Work closely with key business and product stakeholders on building the technical and product roadmap.
Excellent hands on troubleshooting and researching capabilities to look for solutions
Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech in computer science, or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency.
12+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, ideally with complex enterprise grade systems.
2+ years of project management and people management experience is a must.
Good understanding of Enterprise Linux OS, VMs and Containers, Patch Management, Vulnerability remediation.
Good understanding of Apache Kafka architecture, security configurations, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Good understanding of C/C++ and Java coding practices, enterprise software design patterns.
Experience working with CI/CD tools.
Worked in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
