ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager of Social and Content will be responsible for production, channel management, and publishing across social media channels for Peloton’s social and cultural content. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate a vision and craft content to develop engagement. This individual will be responsible for executing the social platform strategy, providing outstanding solutions to stimulate audience growth and optimize distribution across Peloton platforms.

The Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on social community management and content distribution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how people consume social content, have an eye for trends, and serve as a subject matter expert on culture.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Manage the editorial calendar and coordinate day-to-day social publishing for Peloton’s social/cultural content across platforms
  • Develop organic social media channel strategies and craft campaigns
  • Curate and produce content that is consistent with brand messaging and achieves business objectives
  • Build cross-platform, detailed distribution plans for priority content such as vertical content, podcasts, long form franchises, and more
  • Support the conceptualization, production and distribution of content franchises, ensuring concepts deliver against objectives and brand narratives 
  • Facilitate strategic partnerships with brands and creators across the content ecosystem
  • Collaborate around creator, influencer and talent content strategy and amplification
  • Set KPIs, establish measurement techniques and build reporting documents for both internal and client usage
  • Stay on top of social media trends and stimulate new programming development

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 4+ years experience in social media and content publishing 
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape inclusive of platform-specific strategies and standard processes
  • Passionate about Digital Content Trends with knowledge of current and emerging social trends, editorial formats, creators, and platform features
  • Previous experience at digital or social media companies highly preferred 
  • Experience in the branded content space 
  • Solid eye for the visual manifestation of social content (photography, video, graphics)
  • Expertise with social media measurement tools and reporting
  • History of excelling in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple collaborators
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including refined presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities
  • Ability to develop meaningful, trust-based working relationships

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$88,600$115,200 USD
