About the Commercial Strategy & Operations Team

The Commercial Strategy & Operations team’s purpose is to serve as the strategic engine of the Commercial organization. By integrating robust systems, high-impact enablement, scalable lead management, and streamlined revenue operations, we bridge the gap between strategy and daily execution. Working cross-functionally, we align teams, tools, and insights to drive predictable, sustainable growth.

This Role

The Commercial Strategy & Operations team is seeking a technical and strategic Manager, Salesforce Development to lead the evolution of our Salesforce architecture. In this role, you will lead the technical development and code-based architecture of our Salesforce platform while partnering with the Sales Systems & Operations Manager on platform strategy and stakeholder priorities. You won't just be closing tickets; you will ensure our technical architecture scales with our business, own complex technical builds, and own the maintenance of Salesforce.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop Innovative Solutions: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and innovative features that support the CRM needs of multiple business units.

  • Deliver Technical Excellence: Execute development tasks including advanced Apex development (triggers, async, batch), LWC (Lightning Web Components), and SOQL optimization, ensuring all custom code is performant, secure, and built to withstand Salesforce governor limits.

  • Build a Foundation that Scales: Create a system architecture in Salesforce with a strong focus on scalability, user experience, and client experience.

  • Optimize the Lead-to-Revenue Architecture: Design and optimize the end-to-end flow of a lead from initial marketing touchpoint to revenue recognition.

  • Champion AI & Agentic Solutions: Partner with AI & Agentic Workflow Manager on deploying innovative solutions, accelerate delivery cycles, and maintain high code quality.

  • Consult on System Integrations: Build and maintain Salesforce integrations alongside external system owners (Gong, Braze, Salesloft, Zendesk, etc.).

  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and deliver robust reporting tools that increase visibility, provide actionable insights, and drive performance for sales managers and team members.

  • Partner with Stakeholders: Work across Marketing, Commercial, and Client Experience to understand business needs and create system solutions that address them.

What you’ll bring:

  • Salesforce Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Development/Engineering. Salesforce Platform Developer II, System Architect, or Application Architect certifications are highly preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Async), Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Comfortable with cloud-based technology stacks and automation tools.

  • Lead-to-Revenue Knowledge: Proven experience building or managing systems for the Lead-to-Revenue cycle, including Lead Routing and Opportunity Management.

  • Data Modeling: Strong skills in SOQL/SOSL and a deep understanding of Salesforce’s multi-tenant architecture and governor limits.

  • Solution Design: Ability to create technical design documentation and process flow diagrams that clearly communicate complex logic to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Resourcefulness: Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments where priorities shift quickly. A positive, "can-do" attitude with an adaptable approach to evolving business goals and challenges.

  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

  • Prioritization & Problem-Solving: Skilled at breaking down complex problems to identify root causes, while balancing competing priorities. A strategic thinker who understands both the scope and the urgency of various issues.
