What is this opportunity?

We are looking for a Manager, Sales Development to join our growing Marketing team, reporting to the VP of Marketing. You will be responsible for driving the success of the Sales Development team through the definition and management of best practice playbooks and expert performance coaching. Your role involves setting high standards for individual and team performance, ensuring alignment with the overall company objectives and in close collaboration with other GTM teams.

You’re an experienced and results-driven sales development leader with a proven performance track and deep understanding of best practices. You are a believer in strategic, targeted outbound strategies including account-based marketing. You know how to tech-enable sales development and use data to drive continuous improvement.  You have a passion for coaching, are comfortable with driving accountability and are eager to make a positive impact in mental health care. 

How will you contribute?

  • Lead a high-performance team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for engaging and booking meetings for Senior Directors of Partnerships (Account Executives) with high quality, high-intent behavioral health organizations
  • Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies and outreach cadences in alignment with Marketing and Sales teams to build pipeline with consistency and predictability
  • Establish and refine best practice playbooks and resources including account/contact qualification guides, call scripts, email templates, objection handling tips, etc. 
  • Create and set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing, data-driven coaching through call/pitch shadowing, mock role plays and regular feedback during weekly 1:1’s
  • Ensure accurate and complete activity, account and contact information is captured in CRM system
  • Utilize our robust sales engagement platform, to meticulously track and analyze sales development activity, ensuring a data-driven approach to optimizing outreach strategies and maximizing the effectiveness of team efforts 
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales and Marketing teams to establish service commitments and expectations around how accounts move through the buyer journey across teams, as well as how technology is applied to support this process 
  • Cultivate an empathetic and positive team culture that promotes collaboration, creativity and mutual support

What qualifications and skills will help you to be successful?

  • 3+ years prior experience in sales management for technology/SaaS companies with an exceptional track record of exceeding sales team targets 
  • Experience managing a sales development team that is part of Marketing and executes an account-based marketing playbook  
  • Experience thriving in early-stage, high-growth environments characterized by rapid change 
  • Experience in the healthcare vertical is a plus 
  • Expertise with Salesforce.com and with sales engagement platforms, marketing automation platforms (e.g. Hubspot), scheduling tools, data enrichment software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. 
  • Effective at performance management, coaching and training 
  • Skilled at delivering effective feedback and driving accountability  
  • Highly team-oriented and collaborative 
  • Sound judgment in managing focus, juggling multiple priorities and knowing when to escalate

  • The base pay range for this position is $100-120K per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
