With support from experienced leaders and a dedicated coach, you will join a collaborative community that invites you to contribute beyond the scope of client delivery.  In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that will typically fall into one of the following categories: Compliance Transformation, Compliance Automation, Regulatory Change, Consumer Protection and Regulatory Remediation.   • Provide excellent client service and develop and nurture client relationships, serving as a liaison between clients and project teams, understanding their business needs, and delivering responsive and high-quality service.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance programs, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Advise clients and internal teams on regulatory change management, compliance readiness, and exam preparation, including direct engagement with regulators and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, and operational client teams to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage across all business lines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on federal, state, and industry-specific regulations impacting all business lines.
  • Conduct research and analysis, leveraging data to derive valuable insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Lead working meetings with clients and participate in formal client briefings.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects, including engagement planning, budget development, progress monitoring, and quality control of deliverables.
  • Lead development of compelling, easy-to-consume, data-driven deliverables that pragmatically solve client problems.
  • Structure, implement, and synthesize research and analysis on a range of key industry developments and trends to inform client deliverables, proposals, marketing materials, and market strategies.
  • Participate in advancing the Risk Advisory service line through internal initiatives such as recruiting, business development, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing.
  • Cultivate new client relationships and deepen existing ones, leveraging a deep understanding of their business and delivering exceptional results.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with CrossCountry and client team members to address business obstacles, explore potential solutions, and create impactful deliverables.
  • What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years prior experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
  • Regulator experience (CFPB, OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve) is also highly desired and/or you are confident and have experience presenting and engaging with regulators.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing compliance programs for complex organizations, including experience with regulatory relations management and regulatory response handling.
  • Deep expertise in federal regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks, including presenting to and engaging with major U.S. regulatory agencies.
  • Proven ability to interpret, implement, and monitor compliance with key federal regulations
  • Experience conducting regulatory mapping, compliance testing, and regulatory change management across multiple domains.
  • Ability to lead regulatory exam preparation, respond to regulatory inquiries, and manage remediation activities.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve multifaceted issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and analytical thinking skills.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%-30% (varies by client).
  • Availability to work on client site or in office 3 days a week, with 2 days remote (hybrid environment).

    CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $116,000 - $238,400 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
