This position is responsible for managing revenue accounting activities, including month-end close, gross-to-net processes, and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid role that typically requires on-site presence three days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly close procedures for revenue, including journal entries, gross-to-net adjustments and accounts receivable and preparation of financial reports
- Assist with mid-month revenue/tablet reporting and supporting documentation for SEC Reporting
- Support NetSuite automation relating to revenue and AR transactions
- Process gross-to-net payments, including government rebates, discounts, prompt pay, and service fees
- Review all government pricing calculations (NFAMP, AMP verification, PHS pricing, etc.)
- Assist with government-related agreements, such as VA agreements
- Support all internal and external audits, including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley section 404
- Assist the technical accounting function to research and write accounting memos and business process documentation
- Maintain working relationships with 3PL and government pricing vendors
- Assist with new product launch and related revenue process, both domestically and internationally
- Complete special projects as needed and perform other duties as required
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:
- Detailed knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in accounting
- Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical environments
- CPA with Big 4 experience is a strong plus
- Knowledge of/exposure to Netsuite accounting system is a strong plus
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $150,700 – $177,300; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
