The Manager, Pricing & Product position is responsible for the profit and loss of Pie's Workers Compensation book of business. They have ownership over product design and pricing, regulatory compliance, and distribution along with a focus on quantitative analytics for measuring profitability.
The role is responsible for measuring and monitoring how the business metrics are performing in a given timeframe and identifying trends - looking at mix of business changes, quote and conversion levels, claims frequency and severity results, as well as retention metrics. The Manager, Pricing & Product will also work closely with the Technology team to build and improve systems to ensure a great customer and agent experience, as well as allow for efficient and compliant operations. They will also lead a team of analysts and have full management responsibilities.
