Manager, Pricing Operation Management

TW Pricing Operation, Coupang s looking for a Operations Program Manager who is motivated, has a bias for action and can think systemically to bring to life new areas of business for the team.

This role will lead a team of junior FTE and operators to work closely with various cross-functional teams to build, launch and scale new needle-moving initiatives that bring direct impact to Coupang price sharpness and the best shopping experience for our customers.

This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, a knack for operational process planning, analytical capabilities, innovation, and strong business acumen. An individual would succeed in the role when he/she is a strategic thinker, yet not afraid to roll up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty to ensure front-line executional excellence.

Essential Qualifications:

• Create market research processes and frameworks to analyze data and help Coupang teams understand consumer experiences and make pricing decisions.
• Analyze operational data to identify issues and propose both short-term and long-term solutions to enhance the execution and efficiency of market research processes.
• Work with junior FTE and operators for daily operation.
• Analyze primary and secondary data from multiple data sources related to specific products, delivery conditions, sales channels, and market prices to assist in daily pricing decisions and recommend changes to pricing policies for retail products.
• Collaborate with partner teams (accounting, operations, product management, catalog, consumer experience, purchasing, and inventory) throughout various stages of the market research process.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operational roles, incl. 3+ years with responsibility for the set-up of operational processes, oversight over process execution, delivery of improvement programs.
• Strong focus on accuracy and detail in operational processes and market research, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple teams to deliver results within time constraints.
• Experience in conducting hands-on deep dives into issues, identifying root causes, and proposing practical solutions.
• Ability to synthesize information quickly, extract key insights, and present insights to senior manager- and director-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) to provide insights, drive changes in operational processes and measure impact.
