About the Role Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of operations and technology? As MLT’s Manager, Platform Operations, you’ll own the platforms and systems that support every stage of MLT’s leadership programs, from initial awareness and application to training, coaching, and placement. These programs are designed to accelerate career growth and expand access to opportunity for talented professionals. You’ll make sure tools like HubSpot, SMApply, Canvas LMS, and Salesforce work seamlessly together to deliver an outstanding experience and support our mission of developing the next generation of leaders. You’ll excel here if you love building systems that scale, streamlining complex workflows, and partnering across teams to drive operational excellence and equity.Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid; in-office Wednesdays) What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for MLT’s key business and program systems, including Canvas LMS, HubSpot, SMApply, Salesforce, and Asana, ensuring they run smoothly and support our leadership programs.
  • Collaborate with program leads and stakeholders to translate needs into platform functionality and ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Own and enhance the program lifecycle project scaffolding, creating reusable workflows for applications, Fellow tiering, coach assignments, and course setup.
  • Provide technical support, documentation, and training to staff, faculty, and Fellows, fostering internal platform proficiency.
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives and support cross-functional projects across SLAB, Canvas LMS, and HubSpot.
  • Partner with developers and end users to improve Salesforce workflows and integrations, identifying opportunities to optimize data flow and user experience.
  • Support Marketing Communications by managing HubSpot configurations and integrations that drive awareness, recruitment, and engagement.
  • Build and automate operational workflows using Asana and tools like Zapier.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • What You Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in systems administration, learning technologies, marketing automation platforms, or educational/operational program management.
  • Deep expertise with Canvas LMS.
  • HubSpot and Salesforce experience highly desirable; exposure to SMApply and Asana preferred.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly in the context of learning systems, marketing platforms, and cross-functional operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects independently while fostering collaboration with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • What Sets You Apart
  • Salesforce Associate Certification preferred; Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting marketing communications is a strong plus.
