WHOOP is seeking a Manager, People Operations Programs to drive the execution and evolution of key People Ops systems and programs that support our growing team. Reporting to the VP, People Operations, this Boston-based role is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment that blends repeatable processes with ever-evolving challenges. You will lead critical annual initiatives like Open Enrollment, while also taking point on complex, cross-functional projects that advance the maturity and impact of our People infrastructure. You bring an HR generalist mindset, operational excellence, and a bias for action, and you're excited to shape what great looks like for a scaling People team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and manage recurring People Ops programs, including, but not limited to, Open Enrollment, handbook updates, and compliance initiatives.
  • Drive execution and project management for one-off or acute efforts, including new system implementations (e.g., HRIS) and process design initiatives.
  • Act as a key stakeholder and internal SME for our HRIS, helping to expand its capabilities and ensure it supports the needs of our growing business.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support immigration processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, documentation, and data hygiene across the people operations function.
  • Build scalable processes and contribute to a People Operations roadmap that evolves alongside the company’s rapid growth.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3–5 years of HR experience with a generalist background, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects end-to-end, especially those involving cross-functional collaboration
  • Working knowledge of HRIS platforms; experience with implementation or system optimization is a plus
  • Familiarity with core HR compliance areas such as employee handbooks, Open Enrollment, and immigration support
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and adaptable approach to work
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions
  • This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 - $150,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training. 

    In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
     
    These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
