We are looking for a Manager of People & Culture who is passionate about changing the world and has the experience and expertise to contribute to our mission.

We are not just a worldwide market leader in apps for people who cannot speak. Our users are at the heart of what we do. Many of them are autistic, have cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and/or fine motor, vision or cognitive disabilities. As the Manager, People & Culture at AssistiveWare, you will be responsible for ensuring our People & Culture practices support a healthy, compliant, and sustainable organization. You shape and continuously improve HR processes, enabling our managers to apply them consistently and fairly. You combine hands-on HR work with guiding our managers in their growth and with strategic HR development.

You collaborate closely with our managers on individual employee performance, and with management on processes and strategic choices.  You will work together with our Operations Manager on the execution of recruitment, administration, employee wellbeing and culture. You will be part of the Operations team which takes care of HR, Legal, Finance and Office logistics.

What will you be doing?

  • Guide managers in their growth and responsibilities towards their team members
  • Support employee wellbeing and health through proactive HR practices and interventions
  • Drive DEIB improvements that support AssistiveWare’s valuesGuide the performance management process and ensure it is carried out consistently
  • Guide short- and long-term sickness processes, reintegration, and sustainable return-to-work
  • Guide managers in their growth and responsibilities towards their team members
  • Guide the recruitment process, ensuring it is effective and fair
  • Manage personnel administration and ensure accurate HR records and agreements

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant experience as a HR / People & Culture Manager
  • At least a bachelor's degree in the field of Human Resource Management
  • A good eye for the mental health and personal wellbeing of your colleagues
  • Knowledge of Dutch labor law, regulations and procedures
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written
  • Living in the Amsterdam region
