Reporting to the Director of Business Development and working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, the Manager of Business Development (Public Safety – EMEA & APAC) is a key player in our strategic growth plans. The primary objective of this role is to execute on pipeline generation initiatives through the day-to-day management of the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The Manager of Business Development will oversee top of funnel performance in our Public Safety sector across EMEA & APAC regions, directly managing a team of 7-10 Sales Development Representatives.  Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 7-10 SDRs to achieve quarterly & annual pipeline generation targets 
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to recruit, hire & onboard new SDRs 
  • Coach and mentor SDRs, including annual performance reviews, in pursuit of professional development & opportunities for internal advancement 
  • Work with our vendors to maintain & create enablement resources for SDR tools (Salesloft, Drift, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn) 
  • Maintain, develop or implement best-practice prospecting strategies, including AI tools 
  • Partner with Regional Marketing leads to plan & execute marketing campaigns, including the creation of outbound email cadences 
  • Manage and improve upon existing pipeline generation activities related to the organizations acquisition and expansion goals 
  • Measure SDR performance using tools like Salesloft & Salesforce 
  • Report on opportunity & pipeline creation targets using Salesforce & Clari  
  • Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience building and leading a Sales Development Team towards the execution of ambitious goals
  • 3+ years of success in pipeline generation roles in B2B environment (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales) 
  • Experience using AI programs to support daily tasks 
  • The ability and desire to work in a challenging environment - you’re competitive and like to get the job done
  • Passion for prospecting and sales best practices
  • Experience in a SAAS & B2B sales environment
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
  • Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator & ZoomInfo experience an asset

Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
