The role

SoFi is seeking an analytical and highly effective operator to join the Marketing organization as the business operations lead for SIPS (Save, Invest, Protect, Spend), Member, and Crypto. This collection of products are designed to help our members spend less than they make and invest the rest, thereby achieving financial independence.  This role will be pivotal in driving the operating cadence of the team, improving planning and reporting rigor, and enabling decision-making.

The Manager, Marketing Business Operations will work across SIPS, Member, and Crypto to help run the growth, engagement & retention marketing strategies that are critical to the success of the business, drive the operating model for new innovation, and strengthen culture. The Manager will serve as a thought partner to the VP, Product Marketing & the broader leadership team, shape priorities, translate complex inputs into clear recommendations, move across strategy development & marketing execution, and create artefacts that support planning & meeting preparation.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Business Operations and is aligned to the VP, Product Marketing across each business unit. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of leading cross-functional work and solving complex, ambiguous problems across teams.

 

What you’ll do

  • Structure complex problems, define hypothesis, and build business cases to support leadership decisions
  • Product data-driven analyses, models, and leadership-ready communications that convey recommendations, summarize priorities, and celebrate achievements
  • Standardize, track, and create executive-ready presentations on innovation, from concept through launch
  • Own business reporting, budgeting, and forecast support for the VP, Product Marketing
  • Standardize planning artifacts and create lightweight operating mechanisms to support prioritization, decision-making, and meeting preparation
  • Run operating rhythms and culture-building initiatives, including team meetings, offsites, and other key moments 
  • Manage ad hoc analyses and projects from Marketing Business Operations and marketing leadership

What you’ll need:

  • A commitment to SoFi’s mission of helping people Get Their Money Right to achieve their financial ambitions
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of work experience in a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank or high growth technology business
  • Expertise building Board and Executive-ready presentations
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in building financial models and business cases
  • Strategic and proactive approach to problem solving, particularly in ambiguous and dynamic environments
  • Hands on operational capabilities with advanced proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office Apps, etc.
  • Experience in financial services, consumer technology, and marketing
  • Excellent time and project management skills with a track record of delivering on complex projects
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
