Position Summary
This position is responsible for the leadership and management of the marketing and sales support team for the rental service division in Indiana and Michigan. The incumbent in this position will coach, direct, lead and mentor their team in all marketing efforts and support of the outside sales team for the Rental service division.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages Rouse Analytics information used to determine rental rates and benchmark rates provided to our customers by the outside sales staff. Compile and distribute sales rep performance against market rates and identify areas for improvement.
- Manages and maintains all rental services information, sales representatives and managers for Indiana and Michigan in the CRM – from development and testing to administration, training and support along with promotional campaigns
- Analyze and manage all sales data for Rental Services Managers in Indiana and Michigan in addition to sales teams in both states
- Analyze market penetration for new store opportunities and assist with return-on-investment analysis, helping to prioritize new store growth plans.
- Manages and negotiates agreements on all advertising, novelties, telecommunication, public relations, partnerships and sponsorships for Indiana and Michigan
- Manages Rental Services website and social media content – updates, creates content, email marketing campaigns and promotions
- Manages and works all trade shows – logistics, booth design, lead retrieval, etc.
- Leads and negotiates large customer events in Indiana and Michigan (i.e. Duke Training Day)
- Manages multiple GL accounts
- Manages the Caterpillar Allied Vendor program and associated marketing funds
- Develop and manage annual reporting for CAT that determines MacAllister Rentals dealership rating
- Design and produce Rental Services stationary and novelty items such as envelopes, business cards, decals, etc.
- Ensure compliance with established corporate standards
- Manages Dodge Data, Dodge Pipeline and Rentalytics, distributing targeted market opportunity information to the sales teams
- Manages the customer mobile app and portal – from development and testing to administration and customer support, ensuring we are meeting defined service levels
- Owns data quality for rental services, ensuring we are adhering to corporate guidelines for cleanliness and maintenance.
- Brand ambassador for Rental Services – handles all branding and marketing, including facility branding
- Development and maintenance of the Rental Services Sales and Service blogs used to effectively communicate and house information pertinent to these roles
- Manages all training and meetings for sales staff (inside and outside)
- Manage and oversee accounts associated with the National Accounts Program
- Manage, coach and train Rental Sales and Marketing support teams
- Negotiate large branded purchases from all vendors
- Manage and coordinate company events, open houses and promotions for Rental Services
Position Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field (Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent years of experience.
- 7 years or more of experience in marketing or sales
Preferred:
- 10 years or more of experience in graphic design, marketing or sales

- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills
