OVERVIEW

The Manager, HR Operations, will serve as a lead for all internal HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. They will directly manage the HR Operations team, ensuring they provide the highest level of customer service, stay up to date on legal and compliance matters, making data integrity in our HR systems the upmost priority. Their purpose is to decrease the amount of HR administrative work placed on our leaders and automate processes wherever possible to elevate and streamline our employee experience.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Manage team members responsible for the operational aspect of the employee lifecycle, providing valuable insights, guidance, and leadership.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the full employee lifecycle, regularly hosting office hours and/or training for employees, people managers, and HR team members.
  • Lead projects including but not limited to seasonal hiring + conversions, metric reporting, mass data changes, wage changes, compensation reviews.
  • Partner with Payroll to support effective systems and ensure data integrity, including, but not limited to, conducting regular audits and maintenance of Workday and ADP.
  • Dealing with day-to-day inquiries (e.g. pay, attendance, policy guidance) and where necessary, partnering with business partners or cross-functional team members.
  • Stay up to date on legal and compliance matters across North America, ensuring 100% compliance.
  • Support ongoing new store openings across North America, partnering with Recruiting, Legal, and Payroll to ensure compliance and readiness.
  • Support with creating internal and external P&Ps and resources of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, regularly auditing and updating them as needed.
  • Partner with HR leaders to identify and address gaps in support.
  • Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to support Corporate, Retail, and Warehouse environments and navigate rapid and continuous growth, including seasonal increases during the holiday season.
  • Comfortability with a high volume and evolving workload, navigating ambiguity a must.
  • Ability to identify problems, come forward with solutions, and execute plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service – quick and accurate responses to employee inquiries and needs.
  • Self-starter with prioritization and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels within the organization, leading conversations with influence and professionalism. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certification in HR a plus
  • 4-6 years Human Resources experience, with at least 1-2 years managing or supervising a team.
  • High volume administration experience (including systems/database administration) in HR.
  • 1-2 years project management experience.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Workday, ADP, Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

This role is designed to be fully onsite, allowing for close collaboration with the HR team. The position is primarily based in our Beverly Hills office, with regular visits to our Commerce office 1–2 times per week to support our dynamic HR Operations team.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
