Primary Function of Position:

Expand the utilization of the da Vinciâ Surgical System and Ion by partnering with sales to identify and implement best practices using the da Vinciâ Surgical System and Ion in qualifying accounts.  The Manager, Genesis- Europe will manage Genesis team initiatives designed to deliver best practices in successful management of sustainable da Vinciâ Surgery and Ion programs with an emphasis on standardization, efficiency, and safety.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Genesis initiatives within customer accounts in territory.
  • Hire, manage and develop Genesis team members.
  • Set and manage Genesis implementation goals.
  • Educate sales team on Genesis best practices and how to implement within their territories.
  • Drive alignment of Genesis program with sales teams within territory through collaboration with regional leaders.
  • Manage T& E budgets within the Genesis team.
  • Conduct and support clinical training programs for surgical teams as needed.
  • Improve Genesis training programs including updates of training materials and training segments.
  • Present Genesis metrics and milestones at department and executive meetings.
  • Create & report outcomes of relevant (electronic) surveys.
  • Participate and manage the launch of new products or procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Proven success in the role of Genesis Consultant or comparable role.
  • Understanding of all clinical specialties and technology platforms.
  • Direct customer interface experience (Managing accounts and customer relationships).
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop the skills of others.
  • Experience with creating and managing a training project/initiative with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%. Valid Driving license
  • B.S./B.A. degree preferred or equivalent clinical/medical degree or experience.
