About your role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead one of our Investor Services teams. In this hands-on operational role, you will be responsible for managing the complete investor lifecycle, from onboarding and compliance to treasury and communications.

As the team's primary escalation point for client inquiries, your focus will be on providing timely, practical resolutions that maintain strong client relationships. This requires proactively managing client expectations through clear communication, while also mentoring team members to foster their professional growth and service excellence. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to lead client-facing teams and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Investor Services team, overseeing the entire investor lifecycle from onboarding, compliance, treasury, account maintenance, and LP communications.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client inquiries, issues, and requests, providing timely, practical, and client-focused resolutions.

  • Managing client expectations and ensuring transparent communication throughout all daily operations.

  • Exhibit excellent judgment in discerning when to escalate issues, developing effective solutions, and clearly communicating the trade-offs of proposed alternatives.

  • Consistently demonstrate sound judgment to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and issue mitigation.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team with a focus on accountability, client service excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive team performance and accountability by managing to and reporting on critical SLAs for the full range of investor services, from inquiry response to transaction processing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Investor Services, Investor Relations, or Fund Administration, preferably within private markets.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end investor lifecycle in a private funds context, from onboarding to liquidity events.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage client-facing operational teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication, client management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with clients, investors, legal counsel, and internal teams.

  • Client-centric mindset with a focus on practical, business-aligned solutions and sound judgment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications related to project management or financial services are a plus.

Compensation

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, bonus, equity, and a variety of benefits. The Canadian base salary range for this role is $130,000-165,000 CAD. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
