Manager Finance

Job Summary:

A Manager Finance is an associate at Creative Chaos who is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization`s financial health and supporting its long-term financial objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of finance and accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Compile monthly financial statements and prepare the monthly financial package for management.
• Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met.
• Maintain a chart of accounts.
• Assist with project budgeting.
• Prepare grant reporting and filings.
• Assist with statutory filings with states, including payroll, sales tax, and property taxes.
• Liaise with management regarding financial results, strategic initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Assist each department in the entity to create budgets and efficient processes.
• Complete month-end closing of books.
• Create revenue recognition according to ASC 606.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably ACCA and related academics. Additional certifications are a plus (CPA, CFA, CMA).
• Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience preferably in a technology firm.
• Experience in US accounting will be preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• High level of professionalism, confidence, and discretion.
• Superior process, project, time, and change management skills.
• Exceptional intuition with the ability to proactively anticipate needs.
• Independent decision-making capabilities with strong judgment.
• Great organizational skills and logical thinker who can prioritize and pivot quickly between tasks while retaining and synthesizing information.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• The persistence to ‘breakthrough walls’ to solve problems.
• Basic technological proficiency required, advanced proficiency preferred; willingness to learn a wide range of new technologies and applications.
• Shift timings (2 PM to 11 PM).
