Summary
The Manager of Culture & Engagement is responsible for the ongoing growth and development of Allegiant employee culture. This includes full oversight and accountability for employee communications, programs, events, activities, and engagement. This manager develops, coordinates, and implements employee communication strategies and internal marketing programs that support and embody the core values of Allegiant, and is responsible for design and planning of communication strategy for the company’s intranet, email announcements, print-based materials, company events and meetings, and other related communication portals. The manager oversees the design and ongoing strategic usage of employee engagement surveys, and is the advisor to department managers on evaluating, measuring, and addressing results for their own departmental employee engagement. The position also administers oversight to company-wide growth and learning opportunities, including onboarding for new hires, leadership training, and other education into company mission and values as developed. This role supervises Specialists in areas of Employee Programs & Events, Communications, and Engagement.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
Years of Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in HR, internal communication and/or marketing. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisor experience.

Job Duties
•Oversees the company’s intranet and supervises the daily upkeep, editor management, development, design, future growth planning and content creation.
•Plans and develops Allegiant’s internal communication strategies by steering the creation of messaging/materials for regular, ongoing communication with employees. This includes various mediums for communication including email, town hall, intranet, training, videography, photography, etc.
•Collaborates with various departments to further develop internal communication/branding from employee perspective.
•Acts as final editor and record keeper of Allegiant’s internal employee portal.
•Oversees execution of employee engagement survey and own results presentations throughout the company.
•Responsible for team who manages all employee programs and events while finding continuous ways to improve, gain feedback, meet needs, and show ROI.
•Supports the multiple mechanisms for employee led events, groups, and committees.
•Analyzes employee input into actionable programs that align with company goals and employee sentiment.
•Manages vendor research, RFP processes, and program implementation as needed.
•Models Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Leverages AI and automation to streamline practices and procedures.
•Develop specialists to excel in their respective areas.
•Demonstrates understanding, support and contributes to the People Services Culture by embodying it in all interactions, internally and externally, and takes ownership for continuous improvement. As a leader, hold Team Member accountable for embodying the People Services Culture.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
