Overview 

Opendorse is seeking a Manager, Commercial Services who can leverage their existing expertise and experience to help us grow and develop our Commercial Services team while also servicing branded-athlete campaigns at a high-level to maximize ROI and ROAS. In this role you will be responsible for supporting brands and athletes who utilize our technology to execute end-to-end endorsement campaigns. You will also be a practitioner, as the lead contact with customers during highly supported campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brand partners, overseeing end-to-end campaign execution while building trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build scalable social-first activations and athlete-led content strategies that drive participation beyond impressions.
  • Serve as internal campaign lead, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, creative, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and campaign success.
  • Lead athlete sourcing and strategy based on audience fit, sport seasonality, geography, brand objectives, advising partners on selection to maximize authenticity and performance.
  • Manage campaign budgets, deliverables, timelines, revisions, and approval processes to ensure efficient execution across athlete tiers.
  • Own creative execution including concepting, athlete scripting, and content revisions, while developing repeatable formats and playbooks to streamline production.
  • Ensure athlete content meets NIL guidelines, brand compliance standards, and FTC disclosure requirements while maintaining high creative quality.
  • Mediate internal and client issues, resolving scope changes and campaign challenges in a solutions-oriented, financially positive manner.
  • Track campaign performance and deliver ROI-driven insights through athlete-level reporting, recaps, and optimization recommendations.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of marketing and/or advertising professional services background; agency experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize several projects simultaneously to meet deadlines 
  • Thrives when multitasking and in a fast-paced environment 
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented 
  • Experience working with athletes 
  • A good understanding of current marketing trends (social media, influencer marketing) 
  • Experience in the sports industry is preferred, but a wide knowledge base of the industry is a must
  • Experience with data analysis – you know your way around a spreadsheet and how to extract key insights
  • Understanding paid amplification strategies including whitelisting, boosting, and creator licensing where applicable
  • Experience managing high-volume influencer campaigns with multiple stakeholders and deliverables
