About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced CAAS Manager that will work closely with the leader of our Client Accounting Services division in the firm’s India office.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working with small- to medium-sized businesses and collaborating with a team in order to provide a streamlined service to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support clients with accounting, including managing transaction entry, clean-up, and month-end close processes.
  • Supervise and train junior accountants to foster a high-performance team environment, including provide feedback for growth and development.
  • Work with the client service team, responding to questions and providing timely, accurate information.
  • Review monthly financial statements for business owners and stakeholders.
  • Formulate customized solutions for clients based on client data and goals.
  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Train and mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
  • Review reconciliations, bill payments, payrolls, and sales tax returns.
  • Stay informed on accounting standards, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements to proactively advise clients.
  • Optimize workflow processes by following best practices to maximize efficiency and reduce errors
  • Deliver high-quality work on time, consistently exceeding client expectations.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in industry accounting or public accounting consulting
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online
  • Sage Intacct & Xero experience, preferred
  • CPA, preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
