Manager - Category Customer Strategy, Entertainment Ad Sales

 Job Summary - Lead client strategy for CPG sectors such as Beauty & Personal Care, Personal Hygiene, Food, Snacks, Beverages, Home Care. The role’s core objective is to enable sales to deepen client engagement by GTM pitches, building narratives and recommending media strategies for brands across our TV and digital/OTT platforms under Jiostar Key Responsibilities
  • Client / Brand Strategy & GTM Planning
  • Deeply understand brand objectives, marketing KPIs & metrics, target audiences and recommend an integrated GTM strategy for brands via Jiostar (TV & digital) platform & its ad products
  • Map audience-content-channel fits to identify relevant shows, genres, platforms and recommend optimal media mix
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product Revenue Strategy, Measurements, Brand Solutions, Impact etc. teams) to put together proposals and articulate client value delivered
  • Sales Enablement & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Ad Sales teams in creating compelling pitches & narratives towards growth of ad revenues
  • Proactively identify and work towards opportunities for business growth from the category of clients
  • Industry & Market Intelligence
  • Industry view - Continuously monitor industry trends, new launches and ad campaigns, target segments, key KPIs being driven by clients, business outcomes etc. to refine our solution offerings.
  • Analyze competitive data to identify opportunities & recommend optimum media plans.
  • Stay updated on new media formats, evolving consumption behaviors (OTT, connected TV, short-form content, regional trends).

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Preferred Education & Experience
