A Little About the Role 

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing technology company at the forefront of childcare and early education software. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in driving new customer acquisition. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this role will be responsible for building, coaching, and inspiring a team focused on pipeline generation and lead conversion within the SMB market. What you’ll do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of BDRs and SDRs responsible for generating qualified leads and new business opportunities
  • Foster a dynamic, collaborative, and performance-driven sales culture that celebrates success and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to design and execute lead generation campaigns that maximize conversion and pipeline growth
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for outbound prospecting, lead quality, and opportunity creation to ensure team success and consistency
  • Provide ongoing training and call coaching to enhance prospecting skills, objection handling, and product knowledge
  • Partner closely with Software Consultants to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities and optimal pipeline efficiency
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify performance trends and areas for improvement, 
    ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds targets
  • Implement and optimize prospecting tools, outreach strategies, and technology platforms to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Motivate and mentor team members through 1:1s, career development planning, and ongoing feedback
  • Maintain strong alignment with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, market feedback sharing, and coordinated go-to-market execution

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years' of experience in sales or business development within a high-velocity SaaS or FinTech environment
  • 2+ years' of leadership experience managing BDRs/SDRs or inside sales teams
  • Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline growth and meeting or exceeding performance targets
  • Deep understanding of lead generation strategies, sales development processes, and CRM best practices
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a passion for coaching and developing early-career sales professionals
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Competitive, results-oriented, and eager to make an impact in a fast-paced, high-growth company

Salary

The annual cash compensation for this role offers an on-target earnings potential of $150,000 - $175,000/year (base + variable commissions)

Location

This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a few days a week.
