Manager, Business Development (China Digital Advertising - Sales Focus)

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Hunter to join our expanding team. Your primary mission will be to drive new business revenue by selling our China-focused digital advertising solutions (specializing in Xiaohongshu and Douyin) to brands and agencies in Hong Kong. This is a frontline sales role where you will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals.

 

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new business to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for gross profit and new client acquisition.
  • Actively hunt for and identify new business opportunities, target markets, and client segments to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at brands and advertising agencies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and media plans tailored to client objectives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, client needs, and the evolving China digital ecosystem (especially XHS and Douyin) to effectively position our solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign onboarding and contribute to product development based on market feedback.

 

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in advertising sales, media sales, or new business development, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Direct experience selling digital advertising solutions, preferably within an agency, ad-tech platform, media publisher, or digital sales house.
  • Solid understanding of the China digital advertising landscape. Specific experience with the sales and advertising ecosystems of Xiaohongshu (XHS) and/or Douyin is a significant advantage.
  • A strong existing network of contacts (brands and agencies) in the Hong Kong market is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
  • A strategic, target-driven hunter who is self-motivated, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
