Manager / Asst. Manager - Legal

Legal professional with min 5 years of experience either as an in-house counsel or with renowned law firms. The role will involve supporting the business through drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, assisting in regulatory compliance, handling consumer litigation, legal documentation, dealing with investigating authorities and providing day-to-day legal support to cross-functional teams.

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor agreements, service agreements, API integration agreements, marketing agreements, NDAs, MoUs etc.

• Support onboarding of operators, suppliers, service providers for OTA business from a legal and documentation perspective.

• Assist in maintaining and updating platform legal documents such as User Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund/Cancellation policies, Marketing Campaign, etc.

• Provide legal support to internal teams including Business, Marketing, Product, Finance, Human Resource, Administration, and Operations.

• Draft replies to legal notices and assist in handling consumer or vendor disputes.

• Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and other legal proceedings when required.

• Maintain contract trackers, legal documentation records, and dispute trackers.

• Assist in reviewing marketing campaigns and promotional activities for legal compliance.

• Handling consumer litigation and dealing with investigating authorities;

• Monitor compliance under applicable laws.

• Monitor changes in legislation and regulations and assist in impact analysis.

Qualification

• Law graduate (LLB) with minimum 5-7 years of experience in legal function either at a law firm or as in house counsel.

• Strong knowledge of the applicable laws for ixigo such as the Consumer Protection Act, Guidelines for e-commerce companies, dark pattern guidelines, Cyber Laws, DPDP Act, Rules, GDPR etc.

• Law graduate - LLB

• Excellent drafting, communication, and coordination skills; and

• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
