JOB SUMMARY:  As a Manager Analytics at JioHotstar, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-led product decisions across one of India’s largest OTT platforms. You’ll be part of the central analytics team, working closely with product, engineering, and data science to optimize platform performance, working on personalization and recommendation systems ABOUT THE TEAM:  At JioHotstar, the team has developed one of India’s largest, highly scalable platforms in the OTT landscape. This team is part of the central analytics org, focused on platform, particularly video player/ watch experience/ consumption along with personalization model analytics.  REPORTING TO: Manager, Product Analytics KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to to shape robust and real-time data systems with the appropriate instrumentation and visualization capabilities
  • Collaborate with Data Science on personalization models, help create metrics to track rec sys health and develop a scalable framework to feed signals into models
  • Jointly own product goals and lead data-led problem-solving to uncover actionable insights
  • Design and execute hundreds of parallel A/B tests reliably
  • Partner with product and business teams to identify high-level requirements/problems and construct analytical frameworks and presentations
  • Create reports and dashboards that foster a more data-aware organization and accurately reflect the performance of various initiatives
  • Establish and mentor a team of product analysts

  • SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling, predictive analysis, and expertise in R, SQL, Python
  • Expertise in Reporting/BI tools, data warehousing concepts, and ETL development and tools
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and clickstream data
  • Desirable experience with distributed analytic processing technologies (e.g., Hive)
  • Good understanding of various analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, 
  • Excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of consumer behavior
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical discipline, with 7 to 10 years of experience in Business/Product Analytics, preferably from consumer technology companies.
