Reporting to the Director of Accounting Controls, you will contribute directly to scalable finance processes, automation initiatives, and high-quality financial reporting.   • Lead and supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial record integrity within core finance systems (SAP S/4HANA or similar).
  • Oversee and mentor a team of accountants and senior accountants, fostering high performance and accountability.
  • Coordinate with external finance outsourcing partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting transactions.
  • Deliver financial reporting and analysis, including support for statutory filings and management reporting requirements.
  • Design, review, and test internal financial controls to maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and Dutch GAAP standards.
  • Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and efficiency within the finance function.
  • Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and operational control frameworks.

  • Requirements:
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Post-qualified accounting experience with strong technical accounting expertise.
  • Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Dutch GAAP, with strong understanding of financial and operational controls.
  • Experience with SAP (ideally SAP S/4HANA) or comparable ERP systems.
  • Background in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a high-growth or scaling environment.
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex financial structures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hyper-growth setting.
  • Experience collaborating with outsourced finance teams.
  • Comfort working in a remote or asynchronous work environment is a plus.
