Requirements
What you will need to be successful in this role
- Proven experience in management accounting within a medium to large organisation
- Strong capability in period‑end close processes aligned to group timetables
- Demonstrated experience preparing, reviewing, and posting journals, including accruals and deferrals
- Solid understanding of balance sheet ownership, reconciliations, and issue resolution
- Experience delivering variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Ability to ensure revenue, costs, and profitability are complete, accurate, and well‑supported
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality, controls, and audit trails
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly explain financial movements
- Confidence working with large data sets across multiple systems and sources
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with FP&A and finance stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Resilience and adaptability within a transforming and fast‑paced environment
