Essential Job Duties:

  • Preference for multiple modality certification (Dexa / CT)
  • Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
  • Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional
  • May help the team by performing other imaging modalities (MRI Focus, and CT)

Compensation Range:

$120,000 - $140,000

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Vocational or Technical School Diploma required
  • Current New York State License required
  • Current ARRT registration required
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist for DEXA Mammography
  • Experience with other modalities a plus
  • Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy
